OSU Mix Tape: The Post-Game Dirge

The Persistent Fool has mixed together some of the best statements about the BCS National Championship made by newspapers in Ohio. Here are some of my favorites:

From the Columbus Dispatch:

Left tackle Alex Boone said offensive players were hollering at one another in the second half as the Tigers began to pull away.

"We're boys, we get frustrated and everybody started pointing the finger at somebody," Boone said. "Guys were trying to fight each other, getting (ticked) because they didn't think people were helping them and all that stuff, and just selfishness."

Also from the Dispatch:

If at first you don't succeed against an SEC team in a bowl game, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try again. But if anyone says the Buckeyes deserved to walk away from this one with a trophy, they're lying.

And a Haiku:

From the OSU Student Newspaper:

Superman has kryptonite. OSU has the SEC.

We at The Persistent Fool have been waiting to hear someone say "OSU experienced a natural disaster in New Orleans," but apparently, no major media outlet is insensitive enough.
